Fellowship Program

Cultivating future leaders in IPv6 adoption and internet development across the Asia-Pacific region.

Purpose of the Program

The fellowship program is designed to build a vibrant community of future leaders and professionals. It aims to nurture the next generation of IPv6 advocates, encourage regional collaboration, and support the sustainable growth of the internet throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Fellowship Benefits

Selected fellows will receive the following benefits:

  • Full Event Access: Complimentary registration for the seminar and workshop.
  • Meals: Coverage for lunch and tea breaks during the seminar and workshop.

Please Note: The fellowship does not cover airfare, local transportation, or dinners.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen of a country within the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Secure funding for their airfare before applying to the program for onsite participants.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in IPv6 technologies, internet protocols, or network evolution.
  • Show a willingness to actively participate in the APAN, APAC IPv6 Council's and IPv6 Forum activities and contribute to the community.

Application Process

The selection process is competitive. Preference will be given to applicants willing to transfer the knowledge to their local community in their own country. The process is as follows:

  1. Complete the online application form on the official 2nd Global IPv6 Cybersecurity website.
  2. Upload a scanned copy of an official letter confirming your airfare support for onsite participants.
  3. Applications are screened, and shortlisted candidates are invited to the meeting.
  4. Selected fellows must confirm their participation by the specified deadline.
